Role: Installations Planner
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 (per annum)
Location: Newport - Waterworks Lane, Glinton, Peterborough, PE6 7LP.
MCS is recruiting for a Installations Planner to support it's Projects operations.

McIntyre Compliance Services is a trusted compliance safety company carrying out tests / services to make sure customers properties are safe and meet current legislations. We currently maintain, service and repair over 70000 housing association and local authority properties across the UK.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Assigning works to in-house engineers and subcontractors, planning and sourcing for teams on a day to day operational basis, with the support from the Operations Manager - Projects and Installs and wider team.
- Ensure that all installations have been planned in, attended and closed down correctly, with the best utilization of engineers available, ensuring that response times and target are consistently met.
- Assist in identifying ways to improve the team/dept as a whole, becoming more efficient, and flexible.
- Monitoring of our jobs system, ensuring invoicing can be generated promptly and the process is concluded within agreed timeframes.
- Monitor the dept mailbox, accept/raise/query all jobs passed over from other administrative teams, having the understanding of Installation requirements and the subtle differences between different contracts.
- Liaising and booking for external stakeholders such as tenants, scheme managers, hotel bookings, contractors, rental firms etc.
- Assisting the Operations Manager - Projects and Installs in refining, reviewing and improving the department as it evolves and grows.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience within a related sector, e.g. project planning within compliance, FM type businesses.
- Technical knowledge of project planning through to project completion.
- Proactive in processes to be a forward-thinker to meet the needs of the customer, taking ownership when operational issues arise and knowing who is appropriate to involve to reach resolve.
- Confidence in dealing with the customer directly around issues or complaints linked to the delivery of services on a day to day operational basis, with more complex cases to be escalated to the Operations Manager - Projects and Installs.
- Strong organisational skills (ability to manage multiple channels of work.
- Creative and innovative towards new ways of working with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Enthusiastic and positive approach, with the ability to motivate and drive good performance within the team to meet the day to day operational needs for the customer.
In return for your commitment and expertise, you will be offered:
- A salary of £30,000 - £33,000 dependent of experience.
- 22 days of holiday allowance plus any UK bank holidays (30 - 31 days in total)
