MCS is looking for a Fleet and Office Administrator to join its Peterborough offices, based in Glinton, to be responsible for the administration and maintenance of the Company's fleet, liaising with our fleet management provider, our employees and our facilities companies in the management of the Waterworks Lane estate.

This role is for someone who has a high-level attention to detail, is comfortable communicating with a variety of stakeholders, and enjoys variety in their role.

 

About MCS

McIntyre Compliance Services is a trusted compliance safety company carrying out tests / services to make sure customers properties are safe and meet current legislations. We currently maintain, service and repair over 70000 housing association and local authority properties across the UK.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the fleet management provider to administer the company fleet and act as the point of any escalation
  • Liaising with drivers of fleet vehicles and insurance provider where required
  • Ensuring fleet inductions are carried out with all employees in a company vehicle
  • Ensure condition reports of vehicles are being carried out and follow up actions completed
  • Provide weekly update information on the status of the fleet
  • Main point of contact for Waterworks Lane facility issues.
  • Liaising with contractors / employees to ensure the maintenance of Waterworks Lane site and assets.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organisational levels
  • Resilient to set-backs and able to consider, with a positive approach, other avenues to achieve goals when met with challenges.
  • Proactive in processes to be a forward-thinker to meet the needs of the customer, taking ownership when issues arise and knowing who is appropriate to involve to resolve.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task whilst maintaining a high attention to detail
